What our volunteers do

What our volunteers do

Soldiers Helping Soldiers operates as an all-volunteer team of serving military members, veterans, and citizens at large. Volunteers make a difference in every job within our organization. They are our boots on the ground and the power behind them. It is our volunteers who allow more veterans to be assisted in more communities.

We thank our volunteers for their continued caring, kindness, dedication and support in helping veterans to reconnect and to recover from homelessness.

The value of volunteering

Soldiers Helping Soldiers offers more than a simple volunteer position. It allows you to change lives one person at a time, expands your connection with your community, and allows you to grow while giving to those in need.

I have been fortunate to be able to work with military members in every province in this country. I’ve seen the dedication, commitment and care that service members have for Canadians and for each other. They are a family. Being able to serve those who served this country means more than can be expressed. I am involved in Soldiers Helping Soldiers to be a part of an organization that cares deeply for its military and family members.”
